SmartFilesLab provides an AI-powered file processing platform. The Service is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. By using our Service, you acknowledge that file content may be processed by Anthropic's systems in accordance with their privacy policy.

Accounts & Registration

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, notify us of unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.

Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that complies with all applicable laws, does not infringe the rights of others, and does not interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Service to process content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes intellectual property rights, nor attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, use automated systems beyond permitted API usage, or resell access without written consent.

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to files you upload. By uploading, you grant SmartFilesLab a limited license to process your content solely for providing the Service. Uploaded files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by SmartFilesLab and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part without express written permission.

Payment & Billing

• Free tier: 50 file processes per month at no charge.
• Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually, non-refundable except as required by law.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AI-generated results may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated results before relying on them.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SMARTFILESLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS OR $50 USD.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We will notify registered users via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
